Tips for Your Online Dating Profile

With millions of online dating profiles online, the big question is, “How do I get others to notice mine?” The answer is to create a personal profile that really stands out.
So where does one begin?
The first steps in getting your profile noticed is creating a clever screen name and posting photos. Uploading photos is a very important step because most people will not look at profiles without photos.
Photos are the nucleus of your profile because that’s what people will want to see first, especially when it comes to women. With that in mind, post at least one headshot and a full-body shot. Look your best. The photos should also be current, clear, and focused solely on you. Confusing people with a group photo will probably make them want to move right on to the next profile.
A big no-no is passing off someone else’s photo as yours. You will only be wasting each other’s time once the other party discovers that you deceived them.
If you’re doing adult dating, it’s fine and perfectly acceptable to post risqué photos. Shots of your ass are okay, but in most cases, genital shots are not allowed. For complete guidelines to uploading photos and videos, check out your online dating site’s Help section.
Remember that sometimes a photo showing only subtle body parts like cleavage or buff arms can also spark intrigue. And don’t be shy about posting photos. The more photos your upload, the better the chances of catching someone’s eye!
The next step in creating a profile that stands out is coming up with an attention-grabbing headline. A caption like “Looking For A Date” sounds unimaginative and predictable. After all, isn’t everyone on a dating site looking for a date?
Instead, how about writing a more engaging headline like,
“Looking For Both Good Girls and Bad Girls”
As for your essays, it’s important to be honest about yourself and what you’re specifically looking for - but keep it brief. Members often browse through many profiles at a time, and it’s unlikely they have the time or patience to read a lot of text.
To add spice to your essays, include a few innuendos and/or double entendre to help entice your future mates.
Adding a video profile of yourself can help increase your chances of getting laid. Seeing you in motion, along with hearing your voice, could arouse someone enough to contact you! Think of your video profile as a video version of your profile essays.
You may want to rehearse what you’re going to say prior to making your video profile. If it helps, jot down a few notes before shooting your clip and go over it a few times. Flirt with the camera, but act natural. If you can come up with something witty or provocative to say, even better. Wear something sexy and look your best.
If you follow these easy steps, you’ll be one step closer to making connections with other members. If you’re still not getting
the desired results, don’t forget you can tweak your profile anytime by changing your essays, writing different headlines, redoing your video profile and/or adding different photos.
Another tip: have your friends take a look at your profile and ask for their honest feedback. After all, who knows you better than your friends?
Good luck!

I recently joined this site and this tips are sweet for a “adult web dating” as i am.
Actually i wanted to put a fake picture posing as me, but i see thats the wrong thing to do. Now im just wondering if i will introduce myself as a “naughty” man or a “serious” one, cause despite i want desperately a good booty call i would also like to connect with that girl, and lies is a bad way to start a relation
What your opinion guys (and girls)?

I have to agree Craig.
I’ve found a website where it generates good screen names! You just have to type things about you (your name, hobbies and profession for an example) and it will generate 100 clever screen names. Worth take a look!

Ok… My experience tell me to writte funny, simple and straight messages! I imagine that with thousands of profiles to look, girls wont be reading a “10 lines” introduction text of each member! The next thing is to have a eye catching profile photo. No regular head shots (and if so, add some spark, light and color in PS. I personally have a pic of my abs, in fact i dont have great abs but Photoshop does miracles!
